Valentine's Card Class in Noblesville this Tuesday

Please join me on Tuesday, Feb 2nd from 7-8:30pm for a Valentine's Card Class sponsored by Mothers & More of Hamilton County.  We'll be making one valentine that you can give to your sweetie and another that your kids can finish at home to give to Daddy!  (This is a moms-only meeting, so please no kids except for nursing infants.)

The event is open to any mom in Hamilton County.  Guests can attend up to two Mothers & More meetings before joining, and the group is covering the Class Fee for everyone who attends! 

We meet at the Riverwalk Commons Senior Community, on SR32 just 1/2 mile west of Hague Road in Noblesville (Get Directions).  Park at the back-left side of the building and look for the signs. 

RSVPs are strongly encouraged in order to ensure enough supplies for everyone--if you don't RSVP, you'll be last in line for project materials.  Email me now to save your spot!

As I mentioned in a previous post, Stampin' Up! Founder Shelli Gardner will be appearing on NBC's TODAY Show on Friday, December 4th.  While we do not know the exact time, we do know she will be on during the fourth hour (the 10 AM hour on the East Coast). Please note: In some markets the fourth hour of the TODAY Show is not shown directly after the first three hours; we recommend you check your local listings by visiting www.nbc.com/local.

Have you made or bought your Christmas cards yet?

Big thanks to Jamie, MariAnn, Cheryl, Becky, & Henriette for bring lots of enthusiasm & fun to my "Twelve Days of Christmas" class yesterday!  We each made twelve beautiful, unique cards similar to the one shown above. 

If you haven't made or purchased your Christmas cards yet, now is the time to get started.  Here are some great options:

• Purchase the "Twelve Days of Christmas" kit to re-create the cards from yesterday's class.  Just $25 for local pick-up or $30 if you need it mailed.  You'll need to provide your own Christmas greeting stamps or rub-ons for the inside, but I'll discount the kit $5 if you purchase an appropriate greeting set from me at the same time.  Must be ordered from me by phone or email no later than 8pm Eastern time on Monday Nov 16th.
• Try our Holiday Photo Card Kit to create your own hand-crafted photo cards, or create your own design with one of our many holiday-themed stamp sets.  Order online anytime, or local customers can add their order to my current workshop order (call or email me by 8pm tomorrow).
• If you just CAN'T find the time to make your own cards this year, you can still send that hand-crafted look by purchasing finished cards from me.  I do not accept online or phone orders, but I will have a large selection of cards & gift packaging available at the Holiday Bazaar on December 5th.

Holiday Bazaar Dec 5th - Save the Date!

My neighbor Becki Borushko of Keller Williams Realty (Indy Metro North) is hosting a Holiday Bazaar at her home in Noblesville on Saturday December 5th from 6:30-8:30pm.  Vendors will include Stampin' Up!, Pampered Chef, Arbonne, Tastefully Simple, Scentsy Candles & Gift Baskets, Usborne Books, plus purses, jewelry, & more.  As an added bonus, bring your old GOLD and get PAID while you shop!

I'll have a table full of beautiful hand-crafted Christmas items for your shopping pleasure.  Not to mention Stampin' Up! catalogs & gift certificates for the "crafter who has it all".  (Hint: Fill out your Stampin' Up! wish list & send your husband over to shop for you!)

Twelve Days of Christmas Class - November 14th

Do you love the look of hand-made Christmas cards, but think you'll never have the time to get them done?  Then join me for "Twelve Days of Christmas", and leave with 12 beautiful hand-crafted cards to send to your nearest & dearest.  This class is simple enough for beginners, but more experienced stampers will have lots of opportunity for creative expression!

If you love new card ideas, you'll love today's post!  I know it's been quite a while since I've blogged, so I figured I'd make up for it with LOTS of card samples and a reminder about my upcoming class.

First things first, you must ACT NOW if you want a seat at our great Make-N-Take Class on September 26th.  We've been planning for months, and the "super secret special stamping projects" are truly spectacular!  This is a large event, but we are more than 70% full with fewer than 20 seats remaining.  The registration deadline is THIS WEEK, so you need to PRINT & MAIL your registration form & payment ASAP if you want one of the remaining seats.  Click here for the registration form...

Got Swaps?

 

I couldn't help but share this photo--Isn't this just SOOOO cute?!  These two "Got Swaps?" babies were photographed at Stampin' Up! Convention 2009, which I unfortunately didn't get to go to.  But it's a great reminder of WHY I became a Demonstrator, which is the relationships & sharing that happens between all of us stamp-addicted ladies.  There is nothing better than swapping ideas and making new friends, whether it's with my local demonstrator group or with total-strangers-turned-new-friends at Stampin' Up! events like Regionals & Leadership Conference.

Register Now for Upcoming Classes

I've got two great classes coming up, and you'll need to register soon before they fill up!

The first is a small-group scrapbooking class at my home in Noblesville, Indiana.  We'll be using the Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' Kit to make a great two-page 12x12 scrapbook layout OR an 8-page 6x6 mini album. 

• Date:  Saturday, August 15th, 10am-12pm
• Class Fee:  $20 (includes all supplies & instruction)

The second class is the annual "Make & Take" sponsored by a group of local Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.   We're offering 6 top-secret projects, including gorgeous "wow" cards and 3-D gift boxes.  There is space for 70 people, but you'll want to register early because this event ALWAYS sells out!

• Date:  Saturday, September 26th, 10am-3pm
• Location:  Fishers United Methodist Church
• Class Fee:  $40 (included all supplies, instruction, & lunch)
• To Register:  Print the Registration Form and send your check to the address listed.  Then email me so I know that you're coming!

"Sunny Day" Scrapbooking Class on August 15th

It's been a great summer, and you'll want to scrapbook your best photos while the memories are still fresh! 

Join me on Saturday, August 15th from 10am-12pm at my home in Noblesville, Indiana.  We'll create a two-page 12x12 layout with the Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' Kit (shown at left).  For those who want a different twist, you'll also have the option of doing an 8-page 6x6 mini album.

*  Class Fee of $20* includes all materials & small-group instruction.
