I couldn't help but share this photo--Isn't this just SOOOO cute?!  These two "Got Swaps?" babies were photographed at Stampin' Up! Convention 2009, which I unfortunately didn't get to go to.  But it's a great reminder of WHY I became a Demonstrator, which is the relationships & sharing that happens between all of us stamp-addicted ladies.  There is nothing better than swapping ideas and making new friends, whether it's with my local demonstrator group or with total-strangers-turned-new-friends at Stampin' Up! events like Regionals & Leadership Conference.

Video: Creative Options with the BigShot

Stampin' Up! has created a nice, quick video to show some great ways to use the Big Shot die-cutting machine for cutting materials other than card stock.  The video demonstrates the chipboard journal you see above, as well as showing a baby bib made by cutting fabric with the Big Shot, and a "Welcome" sign for your home that was made by cutting through 1/16" balsa wood.  You can view the video here:

And just in case you were wondering, there are over 50 different materials that you can cut with the Big Shot.  As a rule of thumb, you can cut a material with your Big Shot machine and Bigz or Originals dies if you can cut it using your Craft & Paper Scissors.  (Please note the maximum thickness of several materials listed in parentheses.)  Here's the "approved" list:

New Video Available on My Demonstrator Business Website

Stampin' Up! is constantly surprising us Demonstrators with cool new products, website features, and training tools.  Today, they've announced that they'll be producing a monthly video demonstration that will automatically be posted to my Demonstrator Business Website (DBWS) at the bottom left corner of the page.  Each month will feature a new stamping project to get your creative juices flowing!

This month's video features a cute (err...I mean "scary") Halloween card made with the "Just Jawing" stamp set ($25.95 US) from our Catalog Sampler.  If the video inspires you to get stamping, you can even click on the "Shop Now" button at the top right corner of my DBWS to order all of the supplies & have them shipped right to you!
