I've got two great classes coming up, and you'll need to register soon before they fill up!

The first is a small-group scrapbooking class at my home in Noblesville, Indiana.  We'll be using the Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' Kit to make a great two-page 12x12 scrapbook layout OR an 8-page 6x6 mini album. 

• Date:  Saturday, August 15th, 10am-12pm
• Class Fee:  $20 (includes all supplies & instruction)

The second class is the annual "Make & Take" sponsored by a group of local Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.   We're offering 6 top-secret projects, including gorgeous "wow" cards and 3-D gift boxes.  There is space for 70 people, but you'll want to register early because this event ALWAYS sells out!

• Date:  Saturday, September 26th, 10am-3pm
• Location:  Fishers United Methodist Church
• Class Fee:  $40 (included all supplies, instruction, & lunch)
• To Register:  Print the Registration Form and send your check to the address listed.  Then email me so I know that you're coming!

"Sunny Day" Scrapbooking Class on August 15th

It's been a great summer, and you'll want to scrapbook your best photos while the memories are still fresh! 

Join me on Saturday, August 15th from 10am-12pm at my home in Noblesville, Indiana.  We'll create a two-page 12x12 layout with the Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' Kit (shown at left).  For those who want a different twist, you'll also have the option of doing an 8-page 6x6 mini album.

*  Class Fee of $20* includes all materials & small-group instruction.

Hi everyone.  Sorry for my long absence from this blog.  Things have been very busy at work, and Charlotte was sick twice in the past 3 weeks, so I've been a bit distracted...

I'm working on the layout for my upcoming Scrapbooking Class scheduled for Saturday March 14th from 10am-12pm.  The theme is Valentine's Day, with the intention that you can use photos from last month, or from previous a Valentine's Day, or really any good photos of the ones you love most!  I don't have the design finalized yet, but I imagine that I'll be using some of the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper, with an overall color scheme that can be adapted to look more masculine or more feminine depending on your preference.

 

Update 3/10/09:  This class has been canceled due to my daughter being sick again.  Those who are already registered may choose to receive a refund or re-schedule for a future class date.  Thank you for your understanding.

"Love Owl-Ways" Valentine - Day 3

Here's the third Valentine's Day card that I designed using the Love Owl-ways stamp set.  This one may actually be my favorite, but unfortunately none of my friends will be getting one because I chose to go to the gym tonight instead of stamping!  (But maybe I'll make some this weekend and give them out on Monday...)

For those of you who'd like to recreate this little masterpiece, here's the full supply list:

• Stamps:  Love Owl-Ways (from the Holiday Mini Catalog)
• Ink:  Basic Black ink pad; Real Red, Pretty in Pink, Old Olive, & Creamy Caramel markers.
• Paper:  Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, & Naturals White card stock; Bella Rose Designer Series Paper.

"Winter Fun" Scrapbooking Class

With all the snow we've had here in Indiana lately, I ended up with some GREAT photos of my daughter out playing in the backyard.  She's still young enough that she doesn't quite talk in complete sentences, so her request every day is "Go outside.  Play inna snow!"  This two page spread captures some of the best moments we've had enjoying the fluffy white stuff  :-)

Conveniently, this is also the layout we'll be creating at my upcoming Scrapbooking Class on Saturday February 14th.  I'll provide all of the tools, supplies, & instructions, so all you need to bring is a selection of your favorite winter photos and your $20 class fee. 

To be fair to those who pay to attend the class, I will not be posting detailed instructions or a supply list for this layout.  But I will share that we'll be using the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, silver metallic embossing, and the beautiful Delicate Dots Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  You'll have to attend the class for the rest of the recipe!

As usual, you can take advantage of this class offering in three different ways:

• Layout By Mail:  If you live too far away to take advantage of this class in person, you can also purchase the finished layout by mail.  The $20 fee includes the entire two-page 12x12 layout (minus photos) as well as shipping & handling.  Available only for U.S. addresses.

Scrapbooking Saturday: Christmas Class Highlights

Thanks to Henriette, Gigi, and Robyn for making my January Scrapbooking Class a big success!  We had a great time getting creative, and now we're all one layout closer to being "caught up" with our scrapbooking  :-)

Christmas-Themed Scrapbooking Class on Saturday January 10th

Did you miss my Christmas-Themed Scrapbooking Class in December?  This is your last chance to catch what you missed!

Bring along your best photos from this Christmas, or pull out photos from previous years.  We'll be creating a two-page 12x12 scrapbook layout using some of the colors and element you see in the "sneak peek" photos above.  The layout is designed for one 5x7 photo and two 4x6 photos, but you can easily adapt it for four 4x6 photos if you prefer. 

You have three options available:
