Here's the deal. I took enough Spanish in high school & college to consider myself "semi-fluent", which means that I do okay as long as we keep things informal & use the present tense. I've been able to use my Spanish periodically in my work as a physical therapist, but for the most part I'm pretty rusty.
Stampin' Up! recently released a new catalog supplement called "Celebrando Creatividad" that contains dozens of new Spanish-language stamp sets, and we are actively trying to expand into the Spanish-speaking market. I would *love* to be able to do workshops in Spanish, but at this point I don't think I'm fluent enough to really do it justice.
So, I am looking for some help from someone who likes to stamp (or would like to learn) and who is bilingual with English & Spanish. It might be as simple as getting together once a month to stamp and chat in Spanish, or maybe hosting a workshop for your Spanish-speaking friends & helping to translate for me when I struggle with saying "Watercolor Wonder Crayons" :-)
Obviously this would work best if you were semi-local to me, in the general vicinity of Indianapolis, Detroit, or even Chicago. If this sounds like something you might be interested in, please email me so that we can set something up!
